Walkathon on the Occasion of World Cancer Day
In observance of World Cancer Day (04 February 2026), the school organized a Walkathon on 07 February 2026 to create awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
The event was conducted with the active support and guidance of the local police authorities, ensuring safety, discipline and smooth coordination throughout the walkathon.
The programme was graced by esteemed guests:
Mr. Druva Nanjundaiah, Associate Consultant at Infosys and President, Rotaract Club of Bengaluru BTM, who addressed students on discipline, leadership, social responsibility and service to society.
Mr. Kailash Rajendra Limaye, Environmental Engineer (MBA – Finance, Kolhapur), who spoke on the importance of civic sense and responsible citizenship.
Mr. Pruthviraj N, Relationship Manager – Personal Finance (M.Com – Finance, Kolar) and marathoner, who motivated students to embrace fitness and healthy living.
The walkathon concluded successfully, leaving a strong message of health awareness, civic responsibility and community participation, encouraged students to become responsible contributors to a healthier society.
