Teaching Staff

MPS has faculty strength of 24 members comprising of one Principal and one Vice Principal, 6 teachers having post graduate degrees, 12 with B.Ed degrees and 5 NTT Certificates.
The institute has enviable faculty to student ratio of 1:18.
The School curriculum is based on the CBSE pattern following the text provided by NCERT for the Movers – grade 6-8, Flyers – grade 9-10 on the CCE Pattern & Scholars as per Board Scheme.

The school makes use of different Teaching Learning strategies for different levels of teaching Activity based learning, Story narration, Classroom lectures, Overhead Projectors, Power Point Presentations, Interactive sessions, Laboratory teaching, Exhibitions, Real life situations, Guests lectures, Performing Arts sessions, Enactments, Role plays, Field Trips, Industrial visits, Peer Teaching, Outdoor Activities etc.
Modes of assessment emphasizes investigative approaches to learning and the application of skills, knowledge and understanding. The approach recognizes that ‘recall’ becomes a relatively useful skill for individuals in today’s world of rapid change.

Teaching Methodologies & Techniques

Teaching methodology are designed to develop independent thinking and to enhance social and emotional skills in students. Teacher helps in providing individual attention towards the students. Milind Public School provides an exceptional education milieu for children to easily transition their learning process to schools around the globle.

Teaching is driven by student enquiries and reasoning Students involve in simulations, role-plays, unconventional writing exercise, exploration of scenarios, and self paced and team based learning, case studies and execution of research based projects. Students use their analytical and problem solving skills and draw on their existing knowledge and identify the required learning needs.

Milind Public School has four academic units:

  • Kindergarten – Age group 2-5
  • Junior School – Grades 1-4
  • Middle School – Grades 5-7
  • High School – Grades 8-10

Non Teaching Staff

Administrative department in school performs a range of duties relating to school financial procedures including computerised accounting, collection of fees; supervision of clerical and support staff, coordination of repairs and maintenance of school property; liaison with the public and school related bodies and support to the Principal Executive Assistant roles, data processing, research and analysis and other general administrative work.
